Types of Hearing Loss

There are three basic types of hearing loss:

Type A - Conductive Hearing Aid - Hearing Loss

This occurs when sound is not conducted professionally to the middle ear, which may be caused by liquid, earwax, disease, overseas matter or deformity of the middle or external ear.

Type B - Sensorineural Hearing Aid - Hearing Loss

This condition occurs when there is injure to the internal ear ( cochlea ) or to the courage pathways from the internal ear to the intelligence.
